1. Hardware Maintenance
Manufacture Warranty
A three year warranty is supplied with the NAS from Dell.
Peripheral Repair/Maintenance
Cabling and power supply will be kept in good working order. If replacements are needed district technology staff will complete the repairs.
2. Annual Scheduled Service
Hardware Service
District staff will complete a physical cleaning and inspection at the end of every school year.
Software Service
Software will be kept up to date along with other server devices by the district technology staff.
Folder Mapping and Organizing
This will be completed at the close of every school year by the current Lead Technology Teacher (Matt Ricketts)
3. Inventory Control
Electronic tracking and auditing
Yearly auditing will be completed by the district technology staff under the supervision the business manager.
4. Projected Life Cycle
Five year live cycle plan
The school district is presently implementing a five year technology replacement cycle.
5. Maintaining Software
District supplied software
Windows Server software is already installed on the district equipment and is maintained by district staff.
6. Technical Support
Professional Development
Twice a month at the required department meetings training and support will occur.
7. Online Technical
Helpdesk
All teaching staff is familiar with the use of the Helpdesk and it is available through on the district website.
